Foreclosure Mediation

If you get sued for foreclosure, remember that most courts give you the chance to “mediate” your case. In mediation, you, your lawyer (if you have one), and a representative of your lender who has the authority to get something done, meet with a mediator (a lawyer who doesn’t represent you or the lender, but who tries to get everyone to settle the case). This can be a good chance for you to avoid foreclosure. If you’re served with foreclosure papers, you should make a written request for the judge who’s handling your case, to send it to mediation. Before you go to mediation, you have to know what solutions are available to you. Find out at LoanModificationsInfo.com.
